We are in the final stages of moving my father in law out of his apartment in Gosford. This Saturday (March 14) we need to move a few items - namely a mechanical leather recliner chair and about six boxes - into a small storage cage at Coastwide Self Storage in Somersby. We also need to get rid of some miscellaneous furniture items and rubbish from the garage. I guess these go to the local tip? Unless you know of another place that takes furniture - mainly filing cabinets, bed side tables, book shelves, etc. There are some photos attached to give you an idea. These items could also be sold if you had the inclination! There are no stairs - the apartment is on the same floor as the underground car park. There is a short ramp from the car park to street level, where the van would need to be parked. We would be there from 10.30am on Saturday March 14 (we live in Sydney but will head up to Gosford in the morning).

Queen bed bought from Harvey Norman a while ago, it's a large bedhead with shelves and storage compartment underneath that tilts the mattress up to access, it's quite heavy. Mattress is dirty from being in storage, if possible I'd like steam clean it as well but not as important as the assmebly, can have that done later. Might want to put a rug under the bed as well please.
