This is a small job for experienced and strong furniture movers with insurance. We’re too old for this! Our access to the property is limited, so you'll need to start between 8:30-10am on Saturday 10 October. I estimate it will about 1.5 hours. The task is to carry some heavy items down a staircase (26 steps) that turns a few times. Once downstairs, you'll take them about 100m and put them in our trailer. You don't need to assist beyond placing them in the trailer. The items include wooden sideboard (500x1850x850mm) and long TV stand with drawers (450x1900x540mm), slim wooden hall table with drawers (440x1580x890mm), coffee table. Other items include 4 filing cabinets, washing machine, dishwasher, computer desk. Thanks!

UPDATE: Moving date is now Tuesday 25 August. We’ve had to push the move back by a week while we wait for a few final trades to finish work at the new house. Hopefully no more delays after this! Job details otherwise remain the same Looking for 2 experienced removalists with a truck to move some large furniture from Edithvale to Kew on Monday 17 August. Ideally starting from somewhere between 11:15-1:15pm. We have already moved almost everything necessary ourselves (our Edithvale house will remain almost fully furnished), so there are no boxes or general household contents to move, only the following: * Queen bed + mattress — upstairs at pickup. The bed is custom and somewhat complicated to dismantle, so we will dismantle it ourselves, but will need help getting the mattress off first and moving the mattress and dismantled bed components. * 3-seater sofa * 2-seater sofa — upstairs at pickup * Outdoor sofa (very light) * Large buffet (surprisingly heavy) * Large bookcase * Large round mirror * Bar fridge * Upright freezer The load has been estimated by a removalist company at approximately 12 m³ and should fit comfortably in a 3-tonne moving truck. Pickup: Edithvale VIC 3196 Delivery: Kew VIC 3101 We are looking for a fixed price for the complete job, including travel and loading/unloading. Please only offer if: * You have 2 experienced movers * Your truck is large enough to take everything in one trip * You have proper moving equipment, blankets and straps * You can confirm your truck size Please also let me know whether you carry your own goods-in-transit/removalist insurance (in addition to any Airtasker cover), and what it covers. Please include all fees in your offer so we can compare total all-in prices.
