Preparing my home for sale and need a few maintenance jobs done properly, before photos are taken. Looking for someone available this week. Happy to bundle everything together. 1. Front door (225×120 cm) – hardwood with glass panels, north-facing with heavy UV exposure. Varnish has faded and is patchy/flaking in places. Needs sanding back and re-coating with a UV-resistant product (2 coats). Previous finishes have lasted about 12 months, so keen for a recommendation for something more durable. 2. Side fence/gate (185×215 cm) – slatted timber screen blocking side passage to rear garden. Significant flaking and bare timber, particularly on right-hand panel. Needs sanding back (including slat edges) and re-staining/varnishing to match the door. North-facing, same UV issues. 3. Living room windows (x2) – gaps have formed where the aluminium frames meet the plaster reveals. Old filler has cracked and fallen away. On one window the gap is wide enough to see the masonry behind it. Both need resealing. Surrounding paint is fine so prefer a neat repair that avoids repainting. This is time-sensitive – the house needs to be photographed for sale by early next week, so I need someone who can start within the next few days. The window sealing and first coat on the door/fence could be done day one, with second coats the following day etc, flexible on that. Budget: $600–$900 including materials. Open to discussion.

Exterior limestone walls require repointing and repair in some places, photos show main areas. Want to get wall back to original finish. Also some repointing required inside garage. Unsure of extent of work required, happy for tasker to come and quote, must have previous limestone repointing and finishing experience.

We've got a concrete slab in our 'living room' that we'd like to get some options for. We were thinking of either polishing or maybe epoxy, but we're open to suggestions! The area is 25m2 and we're located in Como. Our house is a 1950's house, and the living room is actually the old front sunroom/sleepout that they decided to extend with additional concrete next to the existing slab. One problem is the new half of the concrete is level, but the original half is sloped downwards about 2 inches. We like to know if it's feasible to level the concrete before considering making it look pretty or not (eg by polishing or using epoxy). It might also not be worth the effort. The concrete has been covered with laminate flooring and vapor barrier until now, we bought the house last year.

Our kitchen cabinets need some refinishing. The MDF is chipped in places and some staining. Will probably need some filling, sealing and painting.

Timber on ceiling is cracking and need to be repaired. Another section of the house has timber ceiling which needs to be maintained.

We have a 38ft boat at Fremantle Sailing Club and are looking for a qualified flooring specialist or shipwright to sand and reseal the flooring, in addition to refinishing some of the other parts of the wooden interior. Quotes welcome.
