Chlorinator is not working which has stopped the swimming pool flow. Needs quick repair workaround

There’s been quite a lot of algae in the marine tank and the filter doesn’t seem to work well, affecting the health of my live stock. Needs some help with servicing and checking the filter, it as I’m not experienced. Need some guidance for maintenance as well.

I have a small pond which had a large filter that broke coz of the pressure. We installed a smaller filter but the pressure wasn’t enough for the feature to output water. So the guy put different pumps and asked us to turn the knob to direct the water to either filter pump or feature pump. The knob broke and we can’t operate anymore. Anyone to help us fix this ?
