I need a skilled welder to repair a single vertical picket on my pool gate that has detached at the top and bottom weld points. Material: Non-magnetic 300-series Stainless Steel (likely 304 or 316). Structure: The picket is a thin-walled hollow tube. The Job: Grind back the powder coating to bare, shiny metal at the joint. Securely weld the picket back to the top and bottom rails. TIG welding is preferred for a clean finish on thin stainless, but a high-quality MIG weld is acceptable. Equipment: You must bring your own welder (capable of stainless steel), shielding gas (Pure Argon or Trimix), and stainless-specific consumables/wire. Cleanup: Please ensure no iron contamination occurs (use a dedicated stainless wire brush/flap disc). Finish: The gate is currently black powder-coated. I will touch up with matt black spray paint post repair.

1. Need to fix the metal pool gate to close and the latch to work ( alignment issue ) 2. A small section of paling fence has come off. That existing part had to be removed and a replacement has to be supplied and installed. Please refer the pic.

due to movement in either fence or post, the magnetic latch is not connecting.

Hi Adam, we have an old fashioned pool gate that has stopped returning and closing. It still locks when closed manually, but as you can see in the photos. The lock and return on the gate both need replacing.

Pool gate isn't latching properly, I suspect the rubber in the hinge needs adjusting, happy to help if you need a second pair of hands. Bedroom door is also not latching properly, I need to lift the door for it to engage.
