Oil and Filter Assessment
Upon arriving, your mechanic will first inspect your vehicle before draining the old engine oil and replacing the filter. This process involves starting your car and warming up your motor oil. Then, they will lift your vehicle to locate the drain plug and place an oil pan underneath while draining out the old motor oil. Â
Oil and Filter Replacement
After draining out the old engine oil, your mechanic will proceed with removing the old filter using a wrench. Then, they will put a small amount of engine oil to the gasket to avoid leaks. Once they replace the oil filter with a new one, they will pour in the correct grade and amount of oil suited for your vehicle using a funnel to avoid leaks.
Final Inspection and Testing
After placing the new oil and filter, your mechanic will do a final inspection by starting the engine and letting it run it for a few minutes. This step will help ensure that the new motor oil is circulating smoothly and that there are no signs of leakage around the drain plug and filter. My engine oil is leaking, so I'm looking for a mechanic who can replace the part that holds the engine oil. I haven't hit anything. I visited a mechanic recently, and they added engine oil stop leak liquid, but it's still leaking a little. It would be appreciated if you could provide a receipt to show the work done. The service with this father and son duo has been good. I met the wife, who helps manage the workshop at their house, when I dropped off the car. I saw the father when I picked up the car. The communication with them has been smooth, and they managed to fix my leaking issue at a reasonable price.

I have an Audi A6 2014 2.8 FSI. It started the oil leak, I have already replaced camshaft solenoids O rings, after took it to a shop, they advised that oil is leaking from rocker cover gaskets. They offered me to do it only in July since they are busy. My friend advised it’s leaching from oil pan gasket. So I am just confused. 🤔. I would like to get this fix. Anyone knows Audi better?
