I recently purchased a 2015 Nissan Navara from auction with approximately 250,000 km. I’m looking for someone experienced with Nissan Navaras/mechanical repairs who can inspect the vehicle, help source the required parts from wreckers, and fit/repair them. Known issues so far: - Some damaged/broken lights - Broken/damaged exhaust - Missing spare tyre - Missing glove box - Some rear parts/trim are missing - Engine check light is on, although the vehicle appears to drive fine There may also be other items I haven’t noticed, so I would like someone to inspect the vehicle properly and advise what needs attention. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can: - Diagnose the engine check light - Identify all parts that need replacing - Help find good used parts from local wreckers - Install the parts and repair the vehicle - Let me know if there are any other mechanical or safety issues that should be fixed The vehicle is a 2015 Nissan Navara D23 ST-X 2.3L Twin Turbo Diesel Automatic 4x4. Hi, I have a 2012 Nissan Dualis 2.0 petrol. My current mechanic inspected the car and advised that the rear left wheel bearing is worn and the front left driveshaft is leaking grease. I would like an experienced mechanic to inspect both issues and provide a second opinion. For the rear wheel bearing, please check whether only the left bearing needs replacing or whether the right side also needs replacing. For the front left driveshaft, please check whether it is only the CV boot (rubber boot/manchette) that is damaged and leaking grease, or whether the CV joint/driveshaft itself is damaged and needs replacing. I would like a quote for the recommended repair options after inspection. Please include an estimated cost for the possible repairs after inspection, including replacing only the rear left wheel bearing, replacing only the CV boot, and replacing the complete front left driveshaft if required. Hi, I need an experienced mechanic or thread specialist with proper tools (carbide burr, TIG, or extractor) to remove a broken M6 shoulder bolt on the cylinder head of a Nissan Navara D40 (YD25 engine). Details: An M6 bolt sheared off and a small screw extractor snapped inside. The top of the bolt is protruding slightly above the surface. The rocker cover is already removed, so access is completely clear. Please bring the necessary tools and ideally a spare M6 shoulder bolt / Helicoil kit if the thread needs repair. Location: Cairns. I’m looking for an experienced auto electrician or mechanic familiar with Nissan Navara D40s to repair an intermittent electrical issue. The vehicle has already been inspected by an auto electrician. Fault: The dashboard intermittently turns on and off, with key in ignition, while idling and while driving. Headlights, indicators, hazards all continue to operate. Further testing found that the ignition switch wire/circuit is unstable and intermittently failing, which may be causing the dashboard to switch on and off. The auto electrician has recommended starting with replacement of the ignition switch and then retesting the vehicle. Power, accessory and earth circuits to the existing head unit have already been tested and were within specification. Job required: - Replace/repair the faulty ignition switch or ignition switch electrical component/circuit as required. - Check the associated ignition wiring and connections. - Retest the dashboard after repair to confirm the intermittent fault has been resolved. - Prefer someone experienced with Nissan Navara D40 electrical faults. I can provide the auto electrician’s diagnostic report. Budget is up to $600 depending on parts and work required.
