Our children are aged 3 and 6 and both are in full time preschool / school. We are a happily married professional couple living in a newly renovated home which is a 5 minute walk to Westfield Bondi Junction and a 5 minute bus ride to Bondi Beach. Your room is a beautifully appointed sunny private en-suite with a double bed, built in robes and lots of privacy. The role is focused around keeping our kids happy, safe and supervised. We are very hands-on parents but also have very time consuming jobs and need a mature, efficient and organised nanny to look after the kids when we are working. Regular hours and tasks DURING SCHOOL TERM are MONDAY TO THURSDAY: * 6.30am-9am: Preparing the kids for school (breakfast, school lunches, dressing, drop off, quick morning tidy of the house e.g. putting away breakfast dishes and toys and making beds) *3.30pm-6.30pm: Pick up from school, giving the kids dinner and tidying up afterwards, playing/supervising homework, bathing the kids. *Additional hours if the kids are home sick from school. *Otherwise, the rest of the week is yours! Regular hours DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS are as above but with up to three full days per week supervising the children / taking them for fun activities (e.g. the aquarium, zoo, playgrounds, ferry rides) when they don't have school camps or play dates booked. Drivers' licence is preferred. Occasional evening babysitting is included in the rate of pay and will be arranged to work around your other commitments and social plans. This involves putting the kids to bed and then just hanging out at your own place :) We offer full room and board (i.e. we cover all rent, meals in the home, utilities etc) and also provide a weekly rate of pay.
