Need a babysitter to look after two kids - 2yrs and 7yrs while we have a joint 50th birthday celebration. Will be required from early afternoon into the night.

We’re looking for a warm, reliable and genuinely caring nanny for our almost 2-year-old daughter in Broadbeach. I’m currently looking for someone for around 6 hours per week to begin with, ideally two 3-hour sessions, with the potential to increase to 2–3 days per week over time. We also have another baby arriving later this year, so I’d love to find someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our family long-term. Our daughter is a very happy, social and active little girl. I’d love someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and is happy to get out of the house with her and make their time together fun. Things you might do together could include: • Going to the park or beach • Swimming in our building pool • Going for walks and little outings • Crafts and creative activities • Simple baking or cooking together • Reading and playing at home • Coming up with your own little activities and adventures I’d especially love someone who is naturally proactive and creative with children and enjoys thinking of things they can do together. We follow a very connected, gentle approach to parenting, so finding someone who is warm, patient and responsive with her is really important to us. I’m also very happy for you to bring along craft supplies or things for activities and I can reimburse you for anything purchased for her. For the first few sessions, I’ll most likely stay home while she gets to know you and becomes completely comfortable. Once that relationship is established, you’ll be able to take her out independently for your time together. We’re hoping to find one consistent person who can build a beautiful relationship with her and stay with our family long-term, particularly as we transition into life with a newborn later this year. We need some in home support (as we are working) for our 5 year old. This will involve entertaining her and doing some tidying and organising of her room and play area also. This is needed for Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Per day rate. 9am until 3pm. 250 per day. Must be bright and outgoing.
