Car is a 2013 Fiat Scudo, diesel with a manual transmission. The issue is that sometimes while driving, the car will randomly cut out. Then when I pull over and attempt to start the car up again, it will crank but not turn over. Eventually after 15mins, it would start up again but would also shortly cut out again. mechanic to come my place Werribee to fix an oil leak, and to check the new starter motor. Astra AH 2006 auto hatch, 1.8 lit, auto. Friend put the new starter motor in, but caused the fuel leak on the spot, likely a hose loose, I dunno. Starter not tested, not even attempt to turn it over. Battery appears to be ok, I dunno. Got a 1996 Navara D21 V6 that's turning on and the engine is trying to turn over but it takes a good 5sec or so, sometimes it's too long so need to turn it on a second time and usually it starts then Similar to if a fuel pump fuse is removed. Strathtulloh location. 2011 Holden Captiva (diesel). Need a diagnostic check on it. Not due for a service but multiple check engine lights are on and it is shuddering when idle and not always turning over first try. Lights on are the ‘malfunction indicator lamp’ and ‘change engine oil’ We have drained oil, changed the filter and refilled the oil hoping that would help but did not.
