What does a mechanic service usually include?

Minor service

A roadworthy certificate or pink slip is a specific vehicle check that’s conducted to ensure your car is in a roadworthy condition and can be operated safely. In some states, it’s required when selling a car or may be required each year to confirm your vehicle is safe for registration purposes. A mechanic will check off a list of predetermined items to verify that your car meets a minimum safety standard set out by your state government. My Audi A5 09 Quattro Coupe TFSI 8 has been off the road for over a year now. I have had the coil packs and plugs replaced, the rocker cover gasket, then it was still not quite right and throwing some codes so I took it to a mechanic. My car has been there since May. He has changed the coils packs and plugs, rocker cover gasket, catalytic converter and said it was running fine to pick it up. It was still running like crap. So I put if on a trailer and took it back. He said I needed a new battery so he could read the codes. I know that’s bullshit. So I replaced the battery and now he tells me its needs a new alternator. There were no problems with alternator before.I’m at my wits end, I’m homeless with a young daughter and he just keeps talking shit. He has left my car out in the rain b4 the window was repaired and the keys were in it not just once but twice. I jump started it. Could have stolen it…it’s a joke. When he said it was good to go it was still like it was running on 3 cylinders. I need help please.
