2012 Toyota Hilux Squeaky Clutch (Needs Clutch Fork Lubrication) Issue Description: There is a distinct, high-pitched squeaking noise occurring whenever the clutch pedal is depressed or released. The sound is localized near the bellhousing / transmission area rather than inside the cabin. The clutch itself engages smoothly and is not slipping, but the dry, metallic squeak points to a lack of lubrication on the clutch release fork pivot point. Requested Service: • Inspect the clutch release fork and pivot ball through the inspection boot. • Apply a high-temperature, heavy-duty lubricant to the clutch fork pivot point and the contact area where the fork meets the release bearing. • Verify the noise is resolved without contaminating the clutch disc.

Clutch was slipping and now it isn’t engaging for some reason. I would ultimately like a mechanic to fix or put a clutch kit or adjust or bleed the clutch. If will pay for any parts.

Car is Audi A3 2014 1.8L with DQ200 mechatronics unit has already been programmed. Plenty of videos on YouTube just put in DQ200 mechatronics replacement.

My husband is a qualified mechanic but no longer works on cars like this (use to work for Lexus over 5 years ago).He has used a few decent scanners on it.He has replaced a part that was detected as a fault but further faults have then come up.We are looking for someone that works at Lexus and has access to a scanner to be able to resolve this issue for us.Price is negoitable and depends if you can travel to his work and resolve any issue with the car or if you will simply use your scanner and he will replace the necessary parts himself.
