We have a flooding issue and need to clear existing (dig further in places) an irrigation trench which starts from ground level angling down to approx 10cm deep at the end of the channel. We have a trenching shovel, and other shovels. An existing trench is there but needs clearing. Ground is mix of clay, topsoil with some light cover of landscaping riverstones.

Landscaping and planting required

Were you one of those kids that created created rivers in mud? If so, you’d love this task! Water runs down the side of the house when it rains, flowing underneath into the paved storage area under the house, meaning it gets muddy. Seeking somebody to redirect the water, and do some rudimentary paving so the entryway isn’t muddy either. Budget is a guide. Please let me know total cost, and estimated time to complete. Shovel available, and you can wet the mud if that makes it easier. Let me know any materials you may need. There are obviously a few bricks available. At the end I’ll use water to imitate rain, to check it works.
