I've recently purchased a new Ryobi 18 inch 36V battery powered brushless chainsaw. I've filled it with bar and chain oil, tensioned the chain according to factory instructions and let it run for 5 or so mins to make sure the bar and chain are well oiled. The first cut was quite easy but after that even small cuts begin to generate smoke from the bar and there is clearly too much friction occurring i.e. the saw just isn't cutting as you would expect. I assume the chain is sharp enough given it is a new saw. Looking for someone that has a lot of experience with chainsaws that can come over and help me troubleshoot the issue. I suspect either 1) I'm doing something wrong / basic user error, 2) the wood is too tough / the unit I've selected is under-powered for the job, or 3) the unit is not working to spec. But I don't have enough experience with chainsaws to know the answer. - Due date: Needs to be done on Thursday, 16 March 2023

I’m interior designer working on a project and a few outside areas have fallen into my scope. I have rough idea and would like to brain storm with a landscape designer. I would require you come on-site in killcare (I am Sydney based and travel daily) I would like to share ideas and have you put a plan on paper.
