As part of our South Australia growth, we are seeking an experienced Working Supervisor to lead landscaping and grounds maintenance services at a major managed facility. The Role This is a hands-on supervisory role, working alongside a small team to deliver landscaping, horticulture, arboriculture and irrigation services. You will be the main on-site contact for the client, responsible for quality, compliance and proactive issue management. Immediate start available. Key Responsibilities • Maintain plant health through correct mulching, fertilisation and watering • Prune hedges, shrubs and flowering plants to best practice standards • Remove dead, damaged or diseased growth and manage plant replacements • Maintain a plant schedule and minimum stock levels • Keep all grounds areas clean and free of debris and litter • Maintain tree clearances and prevent encroachment on buildings and services • Coordinate annual pruning and arborist reports • Monitor, inspect and maintain irrigation systems • Carry out minor irrigation repairs and basic system programming • Supervise and coordinate a team of 2–3 staff • Act as the primary on-site client liaison • Identify, document and report hazards, defects and risks What We’re Looking For Essential: • Commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance experience • Strong knowledge of horticulture, arboriculture and irrigation • Supervisory or leading-hand experience • Good client communication skills • Current driver’s licence Desirable: • Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent • Arborist qualification or equivalent experience • Experience in healthcare, government or managed facilities What We Offer • Long-term, stable role • Competitive salary based on experience • Supportive team and clear growth opportunities
