Looking for a practical, reliable person to help as a casual move-in assistant after we move house. Perfect for a uni student, backpacker or someone looking for a few hours of extra cash. We already have professional unpackers / organisers booked, so this is not a professional unpacking or removalist job. You’ll be acting as an extra set of hands and runner, taking direction from me and the organisers on the day to get through whatever we need. Tasks may include: - moving light items between rooms - flattening boxes and clearing packing materials - taking rubbish / recycling to bins - basic wiping down / cleaning as needed - helping in the garage or garden area - cleaning out pots or outdoor items - sorting simple household items - running small local errands if needed - ordering groceries etc No heavy lifting required. Looking for someone practical, efficient, tidy and happy to take direction. Driver licence and own car preferred, but not essential.
