We’re looking for a general clean of our home before a friend comes to house-sit. This is not an end-of-lease clean. The house is in generally tidy, lived-in condition, with nothing extreme or neglected. We just want the place properly refreshed and guest-ready. Areas to be cleaned: 2 bedrooms – dusting, vacuuming, and general wipe-downs Under-bed cleaning in one bedroom only (the other has items packed underneath) Kitchen – benches, sink, stovetop, visible surfaces, cupboards wiped down to remove finger marks, and fridge exterior wiped Dining room – dusting, floors Dining room windows only – inside and outside, approx. 7.2m wide x 2.3m high (requires ladder for outside) Lounge room – dusting, vacuuming, and general wipe-downs Hallway – dusting, vacuuming, and general wipe-downs Laundry – surfaces and floors; a little more neglected than other areas Floors throughout – vacuum and mop where appropriate No need to move heavy furniture or do restoration-style work. We’re after a thorough, careful clean, not a rushed surface wipe. Expected time: approximately 2.5–3.5 hours. Cleaner to bring their own supplies.
