So a weird thing happened and my email stopped forwarding so I had no idea I had a lot of messages on this task!!! I gave up finding anyone and then I finally realised my email hadn't been forwarding and now I can see there were many questions and offers posted 2 months ago, but not what they were as they all seem to have been deleted? So I'm posting again! Larger wall/window air conditioner to be swapped out for new, existing attachment probably needs upgrading, it is above a commercial shopfront window, and short distance to existing 10A plug. No electrical work required just removal and positioning of new box air-conditioner which is same size as one to be removed. I have been informed that due to the way the existing unit has been installed it would be easiest to remove the internals and just put the new unit in the old casing,and thus swap it out from inside the building, and will need scaffolding or at least 2 ladders and planks, both units are very heavy and it is for sure a 2 person job. It is about 3-4 metres up, so it's not really possible to do with 1 ladder safely.

I am trying to calculate a budget for installing split air conditioning on an 9th floor apartment in Southbank Melbourne. I am looking at several alternatives. 1. multi indoor unit. living room is around 40 meters square. 2 bedroom each 12 meters square. The apartment has a balcony where the outdoor unit could be installed. 2. One split system for the living room only.. 3. A multi system for both bedrooms only.

I have an older TechniAir split system air con unit that is not pumping out cold air. It is working otherwise (i.e. it turns on, remote works, fans work, etc). I believe it may just need gas/refrigerant refilling. I live in melbourne cbd, near flagstaff gardens on La Trobe Street.

Needing the water drain pipe for our air conditioning unit fixed. The pipe has a right angle drop but is pushed hair against the ground meaning the flexible tubing has a large kink blocking the flow. This is causing some bad leakage on our balcony. We’re pretty sure the right angle connector is glued on.
