Hi, *** Ignore the budget - I don't know what this should cost, please just quote what you would charge. Date is flexible to an extent. *** I'm looking for quotes to replace a broken existing AC at my home in Port Melbourne please. Job to include removal and disposal of the old unit. I haven't purchased the new unit yet, but imagine I'll look to get it delivered, so shouldn't require you to pick it up. Happy to also discuss supply of the unit itself once the labour side has been agreed. I'd like to get it done quickly, but as I haven't bought the new unit yet that will no doubt introduce some delays. I've attached some photos to help demonstrate things, but basic details are: - Close to a back-to-back install, however the outdoor unit is up on a section of first storey roof. Indoor unit is on a first storey external wall. Pipework needs to travel perhaps 1m horizontally and 2m up a wall / across a roof. - Access to first storey roof section where the outdoor unit sits is reasonable - can get up on it from rear courtyard or side of house. The bamboo in the side access photo can be tied back out of the way. Up on the roof there's a flat gutter and lip which makes moving around reasonably easy. - 20A circuit and breaker already available at the site of the outdoor unit. The loose black cable visible in photos is aerial cable, electrics are done properly. - There's an existing roof bracket which I think can be re-used - appears to be large enough to support the outdoor units of all the models I'm considering. - New unit will be in the 7.1 - 9.5 cooling kW range, probably from Mitsubishi HI or Mitsubishi Electric (but also still considering Daikin too). The old unit is 7.1 kW and does the job, but potentially a little undersized for the space. Just deciding if I can justify the significant price increases as you move above 7.1kW.
