I need help with installing a child saftey gate on a landing of a staircase. There are no walla in either side of landing. On 1 side the gate can be fixed on the balustrade but on the otherside its a window. i need some to come up with an idea on how to fix the other side.

We have a makeshift fence which was used for keeping chickens out of the carport. We now have a puppy and need it replaced with a permanent dogproof fence and gate. Acacia steel panels preferred. I need a baby gate to be removed from the bottom of a staircase. It was drilled in at four points. I’ll then need it to be patched with a fast drying filler and repainted. Will need to be done on the same day, and done ti a high standard as it’s a rental property I’m moving out of. Paint will be supplied. Not needed til the last week of July.

I need my side gate fixed. It doesn't open/close properly. It scrapes along the pavers and there is a piece of wood that it could latch in to but it doesn't have anywhere to lock in. I'm not sure what I need to make this gate more functional so please specify if your offer includes parts or not. Late weekday afternoons or weekends would be ideal to do the job.
