I need you to weed my back, sides and front garden. Back garden: has just had large trees removed and there’s a lot of organic matter left on the ground which I want to lift up and put in garden bags (I have them) I will use this matter to fill garden beds I am moving and putting in, you can see in the picture it includes cardboard and mulch and top dressing. I want to bring it down to a hard layer to build the garden beds on. Anything that can be used as fill for my garden beds I want to keep but the weeds and seeds of those weeds will be going in my green bin. I’m pulling out and relocating all of my raised garden beds so I’d like the space in between them all clear of any organic matter which is at the moment a small bit of dirt and mostly mulch and weeds. My back garden is only 13 meters x 7 meters in total and half of it is paving, then I have a big deck and 6 raised garden beds that you don’t need to do anything to, so the area to work on is attached in my hand drawn picture and it’s around 45sqm I think. Plus down each side of the house which has already had compacted road base put down so just has some long radon weeds here and there. Front garden: weed my front garden and lay and pin down weed mat. Side of house: weed and spray the sides of my house to remove weeds and lay and pin down weed mat. This will likely take a fast worker the better part of a day so either quote me your price for the whole job (I did this) or your hourly rate, just be sure to mention which one you’re quoting for in your offer. No need to remove any green waste from the yard, and I think I probably have all the gear you’ll need but you’re welcome to bring whatever, you probably will need gloves and/or other protective gear like coveralls. I have probably half a week of other work next week with shoveling dirt and mulch and shifting the garden beds around to create more space so I’d love a person capable of doing both jobs, but this quote is for the job detailed above. We have had a bad experience with a gardener recently and we need someone to come help finish off. General weeding, trimming some plants. No grass cutting required. We also will need our green bit empty as the previous has filled it up with half mud and too heavy for the truck to lift. Ideally someone with a trailer would help as we could do a half load.
