We are looking for one or two handy people to help clear an overgrown front yard about 5x4m and small section of backyard at our house (really not much actual area, just removing a few stumps, some dead no mowing, no trimming). The house was previously a long-term rental and the garden hasn’t been maintained. Work includes: • Removing young trees and shrubs (about 2-3 young trees, not big/thick, just overgrown) about 3-4 camellia and other shrubs, unsure due to growth) • Cutting and digging out several roots/stumps (about 4 total) • Removing yuccas/palms (3 yuccas, young, slim) • Loading green waste and disposing of it at the tip We estimate the job could take 1–2 weekends for two people depending on pace. Tools needed: Chainsaw or reciprocating saw, shovel, mattock, etc. There are some pretty thick tree stumps/roots, power tools are needed. No need for whipper snipper/lawn mover, we are focusing on trees/stumps and big shrubs. Bring what you see fit. Pay: $2500 total for the job, + we also provide $400 for petrol / tip / trailer/ truck or van hire, to be arranged by you, to dispose of all green waste created on property. You must handle the waste disposal as our puny little green bin is no match. Please wear protective wear, there are spiders in the area. You are welcome to bring a friend and split the payment.
