The garage door was open, and the opener was whacked accidentally with a stick, Instantly the garage door automatically closed somehow, the motor kept going for another 10-20 second after the door shut before going complete silent. There is no light seen on the panel and remote not working. Tried troubleshooting it as a short circuit by restarting the electricity in the house, didn't work.

The operator bracket is detached from the top panel, and the top panel appears to be bending inward near the opener arm attachment. It looks like it may need reinforcement (possibly a steel strut). It is a single door, 5 panels, sectional garage door.
