We need a sideboard/buffet moved from Murranji Street Hawker to Belconnen Way Page. The sideboard dimensions are 1600 x 480 x 840 mm (width x depth x height) and it is quite heavy. The sideboard is in a bedroom at the Hawker house and there are no steps. The destination is a bedroom at the Page house, which has three external steps and one internal step. Space is quite tight in the Page house so the sideboard will have to be moved vertically into the room (we have measured and we know this will work). We think you probably need 3 people to do this safely (or 2 very strong people). You will need a truck, large ute or trailer to drive the 1.2 km between the two houses. Two people needed with their own small truck to pick up 3 things I bought off marketplace, tie down then deliver to my house. 1 1/2hrs total job 2 pickups: First Kingston - Double 2 seater sofa bed. First floor access down one flight of stairs. (I don't have a photo of this but it's a large standard double sofa bed). Second Forrest - Low hall table/ storage unit and large five seater couch. Third floor access. Couch is in two parts. Both couch and storage unit fit in the lift so fairly easy access. Tie down all items using your blankets so the items don't get damaged then deliver to my house in Page and deliver inside. Ground floor house, up three steps to house.
