Looking for an extra set of hands (or two) to assist my parents to pack and tidy up our 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom family home. We are flexible with times, but hoping to get assistance for 3-4 hours per day, starting this Wednesday 20 November and continuing each day until home is packed up. The deadline for entire home to be packed up, ready for the removalists, is Thursday, 29 November 2024. However, we do not expect the job to take this long. Tasks would include: - Wrapping breakable items to prevent damage during the move; - Packing home contents into moving boxes, room by room; - Working with my mum to sort other items into donate, sell, throw away categories; - Light cleaning/tidying of individual spaces/rooms as you go. E.g. clean/wipe down bathroom vanity once emptied of its contents. *NOTE - This is not the equivalent of an end-of-lease clean. We just need someone who can create & maintain a good level of order and cleanliness in the house during the packing process. Our budget is $45 per hour (or $135-$180 for 3-4 hrs per day).
