What do fridge removals services include?

Fridge and freezer removals services on Airtasker cover just about every stage of relocating your fridge, as you’re upgrading your whitegoods, moving house, or simply rearranging your space.

Once you post a task, professional fridge removalists can help with disconnecting, lifting, securing, transporting, and repositioning your fridge safely, no matter its size or style. Your Tasker will bring the right equipment, take care to protect floors and walls, and make sure your fridge arrives in the same condition it left. Whether it’s a new Samsung fridge, a built-in model, or a hefty two-door unit, there’s always someone nearby ready to lend a hand with your appliance removals needs.

Here’s what’s typically included when you book a fridge removals service on Airtasker:

Disconnecting the fridge’s amenities

First, ask your fridge removalist if they provide this service for you. If yes, they can properly disconnect built-in water dispensers, water filters, and ice makers according to the user manual. This ensures that the fridge can be brought to its new location while moving components as lightly as possible.

Moving the fridge to another house

If fridge removalists need to move your fridge from one house to another, the refrigerator itself and its internal components will be properly packed to avoid having a broken fridge. The same goes for your fridge’s contents.

Relocating and reinstalling your fridge

Refrigerator removals services may also handle moving it from one location to another, from room to room or property to property. If requested, they can also help with reinstallation, ensuring proper procedures are observed before restuffing your fridge with your supplies. Otherwise, you can book a fridge technician to professionally handle the reinstallation of your fridge.

If needed, you can also arrange a separate fridge or appliance cleaning service on Airtasker to get everything fresh and ready before plugging it back in.

Moving built-in refrigerators

When it comes to moving built-in refrigerators like that fancy seamless and unassuming kitchen cabinet, a more careful level of planning is involved. For starters, the built-in fridge has to fit wherever it will end up, which fridge removalists are more than capable of preparing for. There’s more work and hands needed to make this happen, but it is certainly doable.
