Construct a clean, flush timber frame around the fireplace opening (see photos). Ensure the frame is perfectly aligned and level with the tiled surface. Heater insert will be slid in so the heater’s faceplate slightly overlaps the frame (snug fit, no visible gaps). Paint the frame in a matching charcoal/dark grey (paint to be provided).

We have a gas fire place. Can smell some gas ? Leak Need someone to check it and fix if gas leak

We wanted to widen tehe opening from kitchen to Dining. Also, wanted to remove firesplace and wall clading in living area.

We pulled gas heater froma fireplace in a 60 year old house and want to know if the existing fire place can still be be used for a fire. We live off Springvale road near the Glen and we just need someone to look at it quickly, preferable a brick. possibly 10 minutes work.

require tradie/handyman to render in old fire place cavity. chimney is sealed. decommissioned heater has been removed. Require rendered cavity to be presentable for it to be used later as storage or display EDIT: Want to keep the outside tiles as is. Mainly just need the inside of the recess cement rendered on the sides, back, top (may need to be further sealed or covered) and bottom (has some soil). Preference would be a darker grey or black colour to match the tiles. Would also need area missing tile in the top right corner on outside of recess to be rendered/filled in. How much would this be for polished vs unpolished concrete? - Due date: Before Friday, 1 July 2022
