I have a decorative front fence made of Spotted Gum and treated with Sikens stain. In some areas the timber has rotted out. In particular a lower rail needs to be cut out and replaced with new. Also the Arbour has some sections that need replacement. The timber needs to be treated before installation with Sikens stain that I will supply.

The side paling fence is starting to lean over due to the posts failing. The job broadly consists of the following: 1. About 8 metres of 1800mm high fence is affected 2. I need the leaves raked away and then the gravel removed from the fence line and stored. 3. dig out the soil bearing on the fence and store. 4. prop the fence to keep stable. 5. Remove the three affected posts and replace. Posts need to be concreted in and at least 600mm deep. 6. Fit galvanised straps to secure the cross beams to the posts where needed. 7. Use galvanised bugle head screws to secure the cross beams to the posts. 8 reinstate the soil and gravel along the fence line. 9.
