We are looking for a reliable person to assist with event setup, monitoring, and pack down. What the role involves: • Meet us either at our place or directly at the venue (you can ride in the van with us if easier). • Unload and help set up sound, lighting, trusses/bridges, and special effects equipment. • Stay during the entire event to be available if anything needs adjusting or assisting. • Help pack everything up at the end and load it back into the van. Event Locations: Events take place across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and surrounding areas. This is not a fixed location role, so applicants should be comfortable with some travel. Pay (flat rate per event): • $200 net for light events with no lighting/truss setup. • $300–$400 net for larger events requiring bridges/trusses and full lighting setups. (This is per event, not hourly.) Extras: • Free meal provided at every event. • Occasional free drinks (including alcohol, if you wish). One of our key staff recently moved interstate and we're coming up to our busy season so need a little extra help. We need help initially with a 1 off job but may turn into more work, general cleaning, vaccuuming, emptying the bins, dusting, reorganising shelves, moving boxes of stock, then also some general production assistance, organising stock areas, prep etc. Depending on how prepared we are, we might have some light production jobs for you too (trimming posters, cutting stickers), maybe some administration. We are an easy going team, the place is usually clean and organised we're just a bit behind. All training and products will be provided. Prefer female international student (conversational level of english would be preferred, doesn't have to be perfect, we love learning new languages here too and like helping others. Tu Hablas Espagnol? :) ), must be physically able (active environment). No companies, couples or professionals. MUST have a photo in your profile as we want to see WHO we're hiring.
