We are a professional event and wedding entertainment company providing sound systems, lighting rigs with trusses/bridges, CO₂ jet smoke machines, CO₂ guns, and a 360° video booth. We are looking for a reliable person to assist with event setup, monitoring, and pack down. What the role involves: • Meet us either at our place or directly at the venue (you can ride in the van with us if easier). • Unload and help set up sound, lighting, trusses/bridges, and special effects equipment. • Stay during the entire event to be available if anything needs adjusting or assisting. • Help pack everything up at the end and load it back into the van. Event Locations: Events take place across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and surrounding areas. This is not a fixed location role, so applicants should be comfortable with some travel. Pay (flat rate per event): • $200 net for light events with no lighting/truss setup. • $300–$400 net for larger events requiring bridges/trusses and full lighting setups. (This is per event, not hourly.) Extras: • Free meal provided at every event. • Occasional free drinks (including alcohol, if you wish). Requirements: • Must be punctual, reliable, and comfortable with some heavy lifting. • Preferably able to stay on-site for the full event (usually 6–8 hours including setup and pack down). • Comfortable with travel to different venues across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and beyond. • Experience with events, AV equipment, or staging is a bonus but not essential, training provided. The work schedule is comprised of two parts. PART 1 Clean the property twice every month. 1) lounge (pic attached) 2) kitchen (pic attached) 3) shower (pic attached) 4) toilet 5) laundry (pic attached) Please notify only of any significant issues observed or raised by the tenants. This should take up to 2 hours each time (4 hours total). PART 2 Inspect, take photos, and upload them to a shared online drive every third month.
