There is an existing internal double GPO on approximately the opposite side of the same wall, so hoping the new outdoor outlet can be installed back-to-back or nearby using the existing circuit, subject to the electrician confirming suitability. The outlet will primarily be used for EV granny charging, so the circuit and installation will need to be suitable for sustained charging load. Hello, We are looking for a licensed electrician or skilled handyman to adjust the height of a hanging pendant light at our retail store, in Westfield Chermside. The Issue: One of our black dome pendant lights hanging in the middle of our sales floor is positioned too low. It is currently blocking the view of our digital promotional screen on the back wall from the front entrance of the store. We need this light raised so that the bottom of the light sits above the TV screen level. The Job: The task is to professionally adjust the clear suspension cord of the pendant light to raise its height (to the level indicated by the yellow line in the attached photo). The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the ceiling mount/canopy for the pendant light (a suitable tall ladder is required). 2. Adjusting the cord grip/clamping mechanism at the ceiling rose to pull the suspension cable up to the desired height. 3. Securely clamping the cord back in place. 4. If necessary, safely trimming or tucking the excess internal electrical cable inside the ceiling rose. 5. Testing the light to confirm it is secure and operates correctly. Requirements: - A licensed Electrician is preferred (in case any wiring needs to be re-terminated); however, a handyman highly experienced with lighting installations will be considered. - You must have your own tools, including an A-frame ladder appropriate for a high commercial ceiling. - Public liability insurance is required. I’m looking for a qualified and certified electrician next Wednesday (7/1) afternoon (or Thursday 8/1 anytime) to switch out 8 light switches, 9 PowerPoints, and 2 light fixtures. I have purchased all the new stuff, just looking for someone to do the install. In the photos, you will see the grey switches. I am looking to switch out those to the classic white switches. One light is to be hardwired into the walk in wardrobe (there is an existing light there to be replaced). No photo provided. The other light is an external spotlight, also to be hardwired in. A dog chewed through this wire that services my electric massage table for my business. Advice has been to get an electrician to cut/rewire neatly and put heat shrink on it.
