Description: We've added a shower unit in our laundry and need a licensed electrician to install an 5inch exhaust fan to ventilate moisture to the outside. Scope of Work: Install exhaust fan above the shower (external wall, backyard side). Drill hole for the fan (similar to what plumber did for piping). Run wire from existing power point (right of shower near door) to fan. Avoid cutting full plasterboard—use a few small holes and a cable snake to fish wire, minimizing wall damage. Fan should turn on automatically with the existing light. Seal unit inside and out with waterproof silicone. Fit an exterior mesh/grill to block insects. Additional Notes: Blue-painted areas are waterproofed. I’ll handle patching and painting after wiring. No plastering/painting needed from you. Requirements: Licensed and insured electrician. Provide all tools/materials (fan, mesh, silicone). Work must meet Australian electrical/safety standards.
