Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.Â
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. They can also help you check if everything supposed to be in the box is all accounted for. If you have an existing dryer, you could also ask them to disconnect and tear it out for you if they can. Then they’re going to have it ready to complete your condenser or vented tumble dryer installation.
Connecting your appliance
Not sure how to install a tumble dryer yourself? Don’t fret, since a Taske can take care of it for you. They take charge of connecting your appliance to the electrical socket. To help finish the set up of a dryer machine in the laundry room (stacking kit) . Need to hook it up on the washing machine; also need the condensation hose hooked up and set up. I will help with lifting it onto the washing machine (a two person job) . Not a rush job and tradies seem to be too busy with Xmas & new years time . I think the job should not take more than an hour tops.

My dryer turns and dries clothes like usual, however recently something has gone internally, and it’s very loudly squeaking as it goes around, then switches to lower squeaking with a louder popcorn/knocking sound back to loud squeaking. Since it heats and turns I expect it’s a minor repair issue.
