Residential Draftsperson / Building Designer – Home Extension Plans Looking for an experienced residential draftsperson/building designer to help with plans for an extension and renovation to our existing home on the Central Coast NSW. We already have a pretty good idea of what we want to achieve, but need someone to come out, measure the existing house and help turn the ideas into a workable floor plan/design. I am seeking a qualified and experienced building designer, architectural draftsperson or measured-survey professional to attend my single-storey 2-bedroom unit in Frankston. The job is to accurately measure the existing unit and prepare a detailed, dimensioned as-built floor plan showing the existing layout. The plan will be used for future renovations to the bathroom, kitchen, loungeroom and bedroom storage/cupboards, and will be provided to builders, cabinet makers and other trades for planning, recommendations and quoting. Ideally, the final plan should include: * Accurate overall and room dimensions * Wall locations and thicknesses * Doors and windows, including their locations and sizes * Existing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and cabinetry * Built-in cupboards/storage * Ceiling heights * Any other features or measurements relevant to future renovation planning The finished plan should be sufficiently accurate and detailed to provide a reliable existing-condition base for builders, cabinet makers and other renovation professionals.
