I need a qualified electrician to replace a few down lights in my ceiling. You’ll need a ladder (obviously). No new installation is required this job is simply changing the current light bulbs to the new ones. I will supply the replacement light bulbs - you do not need to bring any. The lights are recessed 70mm cutout LED down lights with an AU plug.

Old wire needs to be cut and a female plug wired onto it, so the new downlights can be plugged in. The old ones are very old with a transformer and can’t be unplugged therefore needs to be cut and rewired. I had already 10 done eight months ago and it took less than one hours Work.

Rewiring downlights with new transformers. Total of 10. Plus changing light switch to new one with dimmer. All material supplied by me.

I am looking for a licensed electrician for two tasks: 1. Replace our bathroom single power with a double. I have the parts. The tile space to screw into is very narrow (see pictures) 2. Replace an LED downlight. I have the parts. Need a small ladder to reach. I work from home but am on calls back to back all morning from 7am so need someone who can come at noon or later any day this week except Friday 3-5pm.

2x down lights need swapping out. High ceiling so will need to bring your own ladder. One of the down Lights has been pushed all the way in and is hard to reach - Due date: Needs to be done on Monday, 31 July 2023

Fit two directional downlights into existing ceiling in alcove either side of fireplace and put on a separate switch. Lights are MFL by Masson click COB from Beacon Lighting. Installation into ground floor lounge of a two level house with carpeted floor on next level so no access from above. There are four downlights already in the ceiling controlled by a double gang switch but the new lights need to be able to be turned on independently from the existing lights. Either install a new single switch or change a double gang to a triple gang switch to accommodate the new lights. Lights have been purchased but cables, sockets and gang switch will need to be supplied. - Due date: Before Saturday, 6 May 2023

Supply and fit recessed downlights that can be angled to shine into alcoves either side of chimney in lounge room. Room already has four ceiling downlights. Cables to be run through ceiling to where the other switch is by front door although will have separate switch. Switch is in a stud wall. Lounge room approx 4 x 4m. Access to ceiling space through existing down lights. - Due date: Before Wednesday, 8 March 2023

Check recessed down lights, maybe about four that are out. See photo of one in kitchen that is out and two in another room. Don't think they are just needing light bulbs but if so then please replace light bulbs. Please check all rooms including upstairs. The dishwasher in the kitchen gets tripping the powerboard and turning off. Please see if just needs a surge protector or if something else can be done? It's a very old terrace house so wiring isn't great. Toilet fan making a whirring noise (The Balcony Room) may need replacement or fix. Needs to either be out of hours eg 6am til 8am or after 5pm on Thursday or anytime on Friday before 5pm.
