Looking for an electrician to fix an old victorian home needs changing of downlights both in hallway and in bedroom (purchase LED lights (not supplied)). I believe the walls/ceiling is of a cement type material. Not the typical plasterboard which makes it harder. Looking for a qualified electrician to install a new hard wired smoke alarm. I have not purchased one yet but happy to do so before installation date. Photo of previous smoke alarm location and wiring below. Also looking to replace 8 x LED downlights but need advice first, the transformers don't appear to be working. Currently have sets of 4 lights operating off a single power point switch. One or two out of each set of 4 are not working with a total of 8 individual lights needing to be replaced. Would prefer to pay electrician to provide correct replacement lights/transformers then attempt to buy them myself. Photos below. Need to get work completed by 30th June. Please provide quote based on labour + approximate cost of materials: 8 x replacement LED downlights and transformers. - Due date: Before Friday, 30 June 2023
