Hi, I am looking for a carpenter to install 2 jambs for a single door. I have the jambs ready (ordered slightly longer than needed so one cut needs to be made on each) The task involves: > Remove existing MDF jambs (please do not cut these inside) > While old jambs are off, check if anything is water damaged behind and repair/replace (can pay extra) > Install new jambs > Reinstall door & strike on new jambs > Recaulk any gap between new jambs & walls/tile. There is no architrave , but a small section of wall above the door (see pics with arrows). The jambs run along this at the top, so this section of plaster may need to be removed in order to install jambs and replastered after? Please let me know if you can do the whole process. I am looking for someone quaified, careful, and experienced. Also who has some reviews and pics of previous work. Thank you 🙂

I have a eufy doorbell and I'd like the casing to be installed installed into my wooden fence. I live beside the Russian Orthodox Church on Moore Street in South Yarra. It's a small job but I dont have a drill and would like it to be permanent. If you think it should go into the weatherboard front, we can chat about that too but my preference is for the doorbell casing to be permanently fixed to the wooden fence.

We need someone to repair or replace a bathroom sliding/pocket door that has sustained water damage along the bottom section. Hi, I am wanting to replace the current door separating our carport and side, with a hardwood door I have. The hardwood door needs to have a lock installed on the right side of the door. There are scars from the previous lock (on the left hand side) which ideally, are filled. Unfortunately the hardwood door is 10mm narrower than the existing door, so the frame either needs to be shimmed or reframed. Note, the hardwood door is slightly heavier than the existing door, so must be adequately supported. I have attached images of the hardwood door (painted white), the existing door (painted monument), the lock hardware and the frame. To clarify, I have the hardwood door, and all the lock hardware.
