Hello I’m listing this job for my elderly mum who’s on a pension and is my brothers full time Carer. She really can’t afford to buy a new dishwasher. The dishwasher will not start, feels like the start button wasn’t/isn’t aligned with the button inside. I thought maybe I could take the front panel off and fix it myself, but unfortunately the button fell inside the dishwasher. I quickly gave up, I don’t know anything about dishwashers or electrics for that matter. I didn’t want to make it worse so I put panel back on. In that time something must of happened and it won’t turn on at all. When we tried to turn the power on it activated the safety switch. I do believe it’s fixable, I did not tamper with any wiring but for some reason the lights won’t even come on just from me trying to put the start button in the right spot. If someone could come out and have a look and let myself and mum know if it’s worth fixing or to just replace it. It’s only about 5-6 years old (I think)
