Job details: * Approximate size: 5.5 m × 3.2 m (17.6 m²), subject to site measurement * Timber or composite decking * Built-in L-shaped bench seating along the rear and side fences * Narrow planter beds behind both benches * Finished deck approximately 100 mm above the existing concrete pathway * Existing ground approximately 300–500 mm below concrete level * Access via a 1.2 m-wide concrete pathway I’m also planning a freestanding four-post aluminium pergola in the future, so its footing locations need to be considered. Hi, I am after someone with decking experience to help set up a timber deck over this existing verandah, as minimal as possible framing underneath as this is a concrete slab and I don’t want to create a large build up of the level. A timber deck that was originally built poorly needs refurbishing, the top timber and steps need replacing with treated timber and coated. Dimensions are as follows: - Main deck 2300 x 1550 x 20 mm - Top step 970 x 135 x 40 mm - Bottom two steps 970 x 290 x 40 mm The base looks to be in decent condition, only the deck surface and steps need replacing for now, then coated for protection.
