I need help diagnosing/repairing display issues on my PC. I suspect I either have a faulty monitor or GPU, but I could be wrong. I have a dual-monitor setup, and on one of the monitors specifically when I restart my PC, there is no display until Windows boots up (there ISN'T signal during the BIOS stage). When I boot up my PC after it's been shut down though, there IS signal before Windows boots up and I can see the BIOS stage. It's also worth noting when my second monitor is on standby, it doesn't get signal when I boot up my PC but does get signal if I turn it off and on again. The same monitor at times also flashes different RGB colours like there is some sort of fault. The troubleshooting I have undertaken so far has been: * Swapped out DisplayPort cables * Uninstalled graphics drivers with DDU and installed them again from scratch * Reinstalled Windows 11 * Physically uninstalled the GPU and reinstalled it again * Reinstalled my Ram * Changed Link State Power Management to Off in Power Options * Tested my second monitor in a single monitor setup and the BIOS screen was visible during boot up/restart * Tested my main monitor on a different PC and the BIOS screen was visible during boot up/restart I'm scratching my head on this one. All components and peripherals for my PC are under warranty, but I need to isolate the fault at the very least before making a warranty claim (if need be). My desktop computer Hard Drive (SATA) Master Boot Record (MBR) has corrupted. I would like it to be repaired so I can run the operating system with the setting as is. Can drop the Harddrive to any location with in 30kms Radius or can be collected from Wollert.
