We are currently seeking a dependable and trustworthy housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. This a true "housekeeper" role - not just cleaning. We're looking for a long term commitment from someone who is keen to be part of the family and can turn their hand to whatever is needed. We are looking for an extra "parent" set of hands to help out around the house - someone to help with all the little things that keep a home operating, including washing, cleaning and tidying. We're looking for someone who understands the challenges of having a young family (one 3 year old / one due later in the year) and who can identify what needs doing with minimal direction. Total hours for role are to be negotiated, but expect it to be a multiple visits per week to support a family where one parent is seriously ill. Happy to work with you around other commitments, provided we can agree a schedule that works for all of us. Rate is suggested hourly rate based on the current applicable award and can be negotiated with the right Tasker based on experience. An example of what might need to be done: Carpets vacuumed, all other floors swept & washed. Tidy living areas, wipe down surfaces. Kitchen clean: wipe down surfaces, clean spills etc, clean hob, assist with putting away washing up. Bathroom: clean toilet, shower & bath. Wipe down all surfaces and mirror. Dust surfaces, clean mirrors and picture frames (as needed), tidy bedrooms. Deep clean of oven / fridge / extractor fans can be discussed as ad hoc. Washing clothes, linens and towels - ensuring that these are changed as needed. Additional task could include regular garden maintenance (mowing etc), including picking up after family dog.
