The benchtop has been glued down to timber board underneath so we need a cabinet maker to make 2 cuts at the sink section to free the benchtop so it comes apart as two half sections. It already lifts free from the cupboards beneath. The bottom cupboards then can be loaded separately for transport as all the screws connecting the cupboards together have been removed already. The kitchen to be transported to a carport in Norlane, 6km away. We will need the existing kitchen at the Norlane home removed and the transported kitchen installed in its place which we will organise as a separate job, budget allocation approx $2,500.

The IKEA shelf is from the Komplement range and the sliding mechanisim is fixed to the side walls of the cabinet. There is a gap between the IKEA sliders and the internal sides of the cabinet. They are custom built cabinets so I am looking for a neat and professional solution to installation.

I’m replacing my garage cupboards and cabinets. These ones were from Bunnings. They are white melamine kitchen cabinets. They are in good condition if you wanted something similar, I had hardwood tops on them which I’m keeping for another project. Free to good home, or accepting offers to have them disposed of.
