I’m looking for someone experienced in furniture restoration or surface repair to help remove a stain from a white high-gloss MDF desk in Coniston (Wollongong area). I’ve already tried: • Soap and water • Baking soda + vinegar • Alcohol-based hand sanitiser The stain hasn’t lifted and may have lightly absorbed into the clear gloss finish. The rest of the desk is in great condition — I’d prefer a spot treatment or gentle buff, not a full respray. Ideal if you have experience with: • Furniture surface repair • MDF panel restoration • Glossy finish touch-ups (without damaging the surface) The desk is movable, but I’d prefer someone who can do the repair on-site if possible. I need someone to help restore a wooden/laminate benchtop that has chemical damage and surface scratches (see attached photo). The damage was caused by a cleaning product, leaving a dull white mark and some visible scratches. I’d like it sanded, polished, or treated to make it look better – it needs to be look the best Open to suggestions on products or methods. Please bring your own tools and materials.

We have a few spots where our rabbit did his business and left stains on the polished wooden floorboards. We have been unable to remove easily, so I think it will need sanding and re-polish. Approx 4 separate spots, about 15cm diameter each spot.

I'm looking for help updating the cabinetry in my van to make better use of the space and improve comfort. The cabinets are already installed, and ideally I’d like to reuse most of the existing structure, but modify and enhance it. Here’s a summary of what I’d like to do: 1. Modify the Small Desk Area: I want to raise the height by adding an extra drawer underneath. The goal is to make it more comfortable for use as a workspace or surface. 2. Remake Existing Drawers: I’d like to redesign the current drawers to be longer, reaching further back to maximize storage. One of the drawers should be able to fit a cooker inside it. 3. Remove the Blue Drawers: I want to take out these drawers to make space for a fridge. I’m open to discussing the best design and placement options based on feasibility, price, and time. 4. Back Drawer Improvements: The large drawer in the back does not use all the space efficiently. I’d like to either extend it or divide the space inside for better organization. Additionally, I want to add another drawer on the opposite interior side under the bed where there’s still unused space. 5. Add Shelving Along Bed Head Area: In the back of the van, from the drawers to the head of the bed (where the pillows are), I’d like to explore the possibility of adding a storage section. Ideally, this would include some small shelves where I will add nets or barriers to keep things in place. I’m adding photos that show the current setup and the ideas I have in mind. Need a carpenter who has required tools to put level into 3 meter steel lintel. Complete with required tools. LVL I have. It has to support extra long garage door. Brick guy did not put double brick over lintel from inside.

We’re looking for someone to help repair a chipped corner on a wooden cabinet (see attached photos). The damage is located on the back left-hand corner — mostly surface-level chipping, but it does expose some lighter wood underneath. Ideally looking for someone who can fill, sand, and colour match the area to restore the finish as close as possible.

I have built a timber deck for a client to install 4.5mL x 2.5mW absco shed on for garden storage etc I need someone to assemble and install the shed or assist in assembly and installation (would need to be a weekend job if we work together) the platform is built to size and ready to go for the shed I will install additional supports as needed once complete, shed is delivered, unpacked and ready to go

To replace the rotten timber on both sides of this gable. The gable was repaired, but they didn't do the complete job, we only need these two replaced now. No need to paint as we have a painter already, only replacing the timber as shown in photos.

It’s wooden and12x10 wide and 2725cms high. It has a veranda. It has a written instruction booklet.

The corner for our fridge is on an angle creating a lean, and leak. The fridge has been here for a while but I’ve just moved in. It would be ideal if you can pull the fridge out so I can clean behind it before placing the wood down. Or perhaps the feet can be unscrewed to lift it. You might need to visit first and then do a trip to the trade store if you can factor that in the price. I can also send measurements so you can bring the wood with you to save time.
