I have a 2004 Toyota RAV4 Cruiser (4x4) Aca23r 4d Wagon with a 5-speed manual transmission, 4 cylinders, and a 2.4L engine. Yesterday when driving up a hill the accelerator on my vehicle stopped working. - There are no warning lights on dash. - Vehicle is still going into gear. When in gear and when clutch is released vehicle IS NOT stalling. - The engine is turning over and starting with ease. Idle is good. - The engine DOES NOT start when roll starting the vehicle. - There is no acceleration when in gear. rpm is still responsive. - Clutch feels as it normally does - No obvious leaks from engine compartment Any ideas what this could be?
