I’ve installed a 2016 Mazda 3 steering wheel into my 2014 Mazda 3 (2.0L petrol, Australia model). Steering wheel fits fine, and most buttons work (audio/phone), but cruise control does not activate. I believe the button wiring or signal is not compatible between the two year models. I need someone with experience in car electronics or Mazda wiring to help do one of the following: – Check cruise control signal wiring from the steering wheel – Possibly adapt the button module wiring to match the 2014 system – Confirm if clock spring or button signals are mismatched I have 2016 model airbag ready to be installed with newer steering wheel. First picture old model, second picture is newer model for your reference. I will assist and provide access to the vehicle in a safe, well-lit location.

I would like to install a Viofo A229 2 CH dashcam for front and rear on a 2022 Mazda CX5. The install should not damage trim or working of the airbag please. I also do have the hardware kit. Happy to discuss dates and timings.
