Hey There I'm interested in buying my first 80 series Landcruiser and was looking at a 1996 Standard model. We have already had a general look but would like to have a once over with a professional/someone who knows their way around older 4wd’s with engine suspension etc. On our first look it has some issues which the buying outlined such as two non structural rust spots and weeping front hubs. Looking for an experienced mobile mechanic to complete a pre-purchase inspection on a 2018 Subaru Outback 2.5L petrol automatic/CVT in Sydney. The car has approximately 165,000 km and is being sold privately. We have already test-driven it and it appears to be in very good condition, but would like an independent mechanical inspection before purchasing. I’d like the inspection to include: * Engine condition, leaks and any signs of excessive oil consumption * CVT/transmission condition and operation * AWD/drivetrain * Suspension, steering, wheel bearings and CV joints * Brakes and tyres * Cooling system * Battery/electrical systems * Underbody inspection * Any evidence of accident damage or previous repairs * Diagnostic scan for fault codes * Review of service history if available * General assessment of whether any major repairs or maintenance are likely to be required soon As it is a higher-kilometre Subaru, I’d especially appreciate someone familiar with Subaru Outbacks and CVT transmissions. Ideally, I’d like a brief written or verbal report afterwards outlining any issues found, approximate repair costs where possible, and whether you would consider the vehicle a good purchase. Please let me know your experience with pre-purchase inspections/Subarus and what equipment you will bring.

My 2012 Mazda6 has a warning message "i-eloop inspection required", that's been dragging on for more than a year now. I've taken my car to many mechanics and a few electricians, including Mazda House, and no one has been able to fully fix my problem. I had the alternator replaced, the capacitor replaced, new battery, nothing has fixed the problem.
