Hi there, I’m looking for a reliable handyman or carpenter to complete some pergola repairs and install new shadecloth. I’m hoping to find someone who pays attention to detail and can complete the job once started. Photos are attached for reference. What’s needed: - In one section (this part of the pergola is otherwise complete and solid): • Saw the already installed beam ends down flat. They are slightly uneven now. • Paint the sawn off end of beams. - In another section: • Replace 2.5 metre wood that attaches to the fascia (water-damaged) and paint it. There is a temporary fix at the moment but the wood underneath is water damaged from leaky gutter ( fixed ) • Fit new or use existing brackets as needed • Reattach beams (two) with brackets. Another 3 beams would need to be unscrewed and then placed back on to replace. • Check the remaining fascia wood along that side of the house and advise if any is in need of replacement. • Install shadecloth neatly and tension correctly once repairs are done. I’ll purchase the wood, shadecloth, paint, and any other materials you require — just let me know what’s needed when you start. I’d like to have this finished within the next two weeks before the hot weather sets in. Access: Easy driveway access through to the back yard and good working space available

I need a partition wall built in my laundry, approximately 2 metres in length (floor to ceiling). I’m looking for: - A steady and strong wall (even though it will be temporary). - Likely a timber frame with sheets screwed on, but I’m open to your ideas and suggestions for the best solution. - Clean and secure finish.

Hi, I have wooden pergola which has had some beams replaced but now needs completion now that the weather is better. 6 blue beams need To go up The area is in total 10.5 metres x 3.3m. The following needs completion: - the 4 newly purchased beams painted ( seem to be cut correctly but will need checking ) and put up. May need brackets to hold. - 2 beams, which where existing trimmed at end to match others, ends and tops painted, brackets added, and put up. - purchased shade cloth nailed properly to the wood with the pink wooden slats to assist with holding. The slats will need cutting. - Some shade cloth which is new and already up there needs some extra nails as it could be pulled tighter - the piece of wood that holds the new beams to the house looks like it may need painting and replacement. I don’t think that has been purchased but will purchase if needed. I have the paint and the wood and shadecloth but happy to purchase anything you require to finish this off. I will need your help with any advice on what to purchase. If extra wood it’s required, I will need you to pick it up from supplier with a Ute / trailer as I don’t have one. Thanks
