Title: Pergola flat roof drainage fix — overflow/backflow issue Description: I have a small flat-roof pergola attached to the rear of my house. There is a shared gutter between the house roofline and the pergola roof that overflows during rain. I believe there are two contributing issues: The flat pergola roof may not have sufficient fall, causing water to back-drain into the shared gutter rather than away from it The shared gutter may be undersized or blocked for the combined catchment area it's serving I'm looking for a licensed plumber or roofer who can: Inspect the pergola roof fall and gutter sizing Diagnose whether the issue is fall, gutter capacity, downpipe placement, or a combination Quote on rectification works Please only respond if you have experience with flat roof drainage and attached pergola structures. We have a pergola leaning against two sides of the house. We need someone to fill in the gaps with silicone and waterproof tape to stop the leakage.
