We live in a rental that has no undercover outdoor area, so we want to build a free-standing pergola - either in the backyard OR even better would be off the back door in the side yard (photo attached). We are thinking we will clear the veggie patch and level it, add some decking pavers there to create an outdoor deck space (we would do this prior to beginning work on assembling pergola). And then potentially do beams in buckets filled with concrete (so its not permanent or affixed to the property in an way), simple cross beams for roof and tin sheets. So maybe 3 hours labour for assembling the pergola. There will be 3-4 of us assisting, so just need 1 experienced labourer to help us We are happy to supply all the materials needed. Looking for a quote from someone with experience in this kind of thing. Also, we are on a very tight budget
