I need an experienced carpenter or builder to complete several related timber repair jobs at my home. 1️⃣ Pergola Structural Repair (URGENT) One of the pergola beams/trusses is rotten and has split (photos attached). This has caused the pergola to shift and put pressure on the house fascia, creating a long gap in the eaves. Work required: • Install temporary supports • Remove and replace rotten beam with new treated timber • Install new plates/fasteners • Realign pergola so it no longer presses against the house • Realign and secure house fascia • Refit or replace soffit/eaves sheet • Clear debris behind the eaves ⸻ 2️⃣ Garage Door Timber Post Replacement The timber post/jamb on one side of the roller door is rotten and currently holding the track and opener bracket. This needs to be replaced. Work required: • Remove rotten post • Cut and fit new H3 treated pine post • Reattach garage door track bracket • Ensure correct alignment • Seal/prime timber • Check door operation (basic adjustment if needed) ⸻ You’ll need: • Carpentry experience • Ability to handle structural timber repairs • Tools + ladder • Experience with garage door frames or willingness to adjust track if needed
