Kitchen Renovation – Brick Cut-Out Required for Oven Tower I am currently having a kitchen renovation completed and we are looking to install an oven tower. The oven tower will include drawers underneath the oven, with a microwave space above it, as marked in the attached photo. To allow the oven tower to be installed, some brickwork will need to be cut out above and below the existing oven space. It is highly likely that a lintel will also be required to support the weight of the brickwork above. The kitchen company is able to supply and fit the oven tower, but they are unable to cut out or remove the required brickwork. We are arranging for an electrician to remove the oven, but we are looking for someone who can assist with: Cutting out/removing the required brickwork; Installing or allowing for a lintel if required; Disposing of the removed bricks/rubble; and Preparing the space for the oven tower installation. The cut-out can be no higher than 1900mm from the floor, and the width will need to match the width of the oven tower/frame. Ideally, we would like this completed as soon as possible from Thursday 6 August, as the kitchen renovation is expected to commence from Wednesday 12 August. I am based in Palmyra and would be happy for you to come and inspect the job beforehand if that helps.
